The Drama Beast school-holiday workshops are the opportunity for children to spend full days immersed in drama and the creative arts. Our workshops are centred around a theme or story; and throughout the workshop, children can enjoy all aspects of production making and performing, including set building, costume design, crafting, games, rehearsals, dancing, singing and cookery.
Previous workshops have included Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Alice in Wonderland, The Hobbit, The Highway Rat, A Christmas Carol and Greek Mythology.
No previous drama or performance experience is necessary. The main aim is for each and every child to be imaginative, creative, make new friends and have fun! At the end of the workshop, parents, family and friends are invited to a performance showcasing all of the children’s creations.
